The full draft law (municipal ban zones, PLN 50,000 fines) was approved by the Council of Ministers on 14 July 2026 but still requires parliamentary approval and presidential signature — treat municipal zoning powers as PROPOSED, not yet in force, while the CWTON registration duty itself already follows from the directly-applicable EU Regulation 2024/1028.

1No municipal short-term rental zoning regime is currently in force in Warsaw — the draft national law naming Warsaw as a candidate for future restriction zones has not yet passed parliament.
